Coronavirus Safety

Public safety is of utmost importance; we have a dedicated H&S advisor who is linked to the government’s Coronavirus updates and has produced a COVID-19 safety management plan. Please be assured our team will do everything required to enable events to take place safely.

Please follow the instructions of our coronavirus safety team; they will be there to keep you, our team and the community safe.

Will will have queuing markers outside St Mary’s Church and around the exhibition. These will be set out at the appropriate distance for groups.

Extra cleaning will take place of St Mary’s Church both prior to and between our events. We will wipe all surfaces including seats and handles.

A one way system will be in operation and signed; please follow this, even if you’re ‘just quickly going to nip back here’ – NO, PLEASE FOLLOW THE SIGNS!

The capacity and seating plan has been designed to allow for social distancing and ease of access; you will be able to pass people without close (1 metre+) contact. We will not be selling every seat in the row – there will be large gaps and we’re only selling less than a third of the Church’s capacity. Tier 2 restrictions state “public attendance at outdoor and indoor events (performances and shows) is permitted, limited to whichever is lower: 50% capacity, or either 2,000 people outdoors or 1,000 people indoors”

Sound enhancement will be used to support our professional performers; please note that in line with government guidelines we asks that you do not sing along (even if you’re really really good!)

Aside this, we have a detailed risk assessments which will be followed and briefed to all the team working on the event.

Please help us keep everyone safe by following these simple rules.

Hands – We will have sanitiser available at all entrance and exit points, plus other key locations around venues.

Face – Face coverings will be required at all events, both whilst entering / moving around and whilst seated.

Space – We’ll have signage up to remind people, but social distancing is essential. This includes whilst queuing to enter venues. Please follow markers on the floor and / or banners.
